Headless HQ
AI agents that run the operational side of my products. Marketing, sales, finance, support, onboarding. I make the decisions, the agents handle the coordination. Building it for myself first, then for other solo founders.
Why I’m building this
I’m running multiple products solo. The building part is fine. I’ve been writing code for 15 years. What eats my time is everything around it. The follow-up email after a sales call. The invoice after a contract closes. Updating the CRM. Checking if onboarding went smoothly. Making sure nothing falls through the cracks when I’m deep in code for three days.
Most of running a company is coordination. Not the hard kind. The boring kind. And I kept noticing that AI was already good enough to handle most of it, if someone wired it up properly.
So I started wiring it up.
What it actually is
Headless HQ is a team of AI agents that run the operational side of my products. Marketing, sales, finance, support, onboarding. Each agent has a specific job and they talk to each other through an event system. A new customer signs up, and onboarding, finance, and compliance all act at the same time, without me routing a ticket or sending a Slack message.
They’re not chatbots. They’re workers. They have KPIs. Less than 5% of what they do needs my approval. The rest just happens.
I have a dashboard where I can see what every agent is doing, review their decisions, and step in when something needs a human. Most of the time I don’t need to.
Where it’s going
I’m building this for myself first. I’m the first user and the hardest critic. Once it’s running my own products reliably, I’ll open it up to other solo founders who have the same problem I do: too much coordination, not enough building time.
